[Live Online] Supervisors Use of Arts-based Practices to Foster Professional Identity (1 CE)

Description:

This study examines how art therapy supervisors use arts-based methods to facilitate PID with masters-level art therapy students while exploring historical and current supervisory practices. A cross-sectional survey of credentialed art therapy supervisors highlights the impact of creative approaches on self-awareness, competency, and professional growth in art therapy supervision. Participants will engage in live discussion and art making.

Learning Objectives:

Objective 1: Participants will describe professional identity development in at least one mental health profession.

Objective 2: Participants will identify at least two factors of professional identity development paired the most with arts-based methods to facilitate professional identity development.

Objective 3: Participants will analyze at least two gaps in the literature on historical and current supervisory practices and their impact on the field.

    To request a transfer, please email Christine at christine@creativeconnectionsandwellbeing.com with the name and email address of the person who will be attending in your place. Participants are responsible for coordinating the transfer and any related payment arrangements.

    Additional details regarding registration, payment, and attendance policies are included in your registration confirmation and invoice. In the event that Creative Connections & Well-Being must cancel a workshop or program, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
